NEWS PS4 Mods For Fallout 4 and Skyrim Remaster Postponed Indefinitely

A few days ago now Bethesda confirmed what a lot of us had already feared: Fallout 4 and Skyrim mods will not come to PS4. At least not unless Sony change's their mind out of the blue.

Now before you get angry at Bethesda, according to them, Sony will not give them the permissions required to let mods function they way they're supposed to as shown by this link to Bethesda's official statement on their website.

For those of us that have followed Bethesda for awhile we remember Sony and their products delaying Bethesda's release timeline before. about 4-5 years ago now with DLC for Skyrim. Dawnguard ran so horridly on the PS3 that it didn't even release until 8 months after the Xbox 360 release causing Bethesda to stop making Skyrim DLC early due to the time it took them to get Dawnguard working properly on the PS3.

Are we seeing a trend here with Bethesda and Sony? Only time will tell.
