Hey I'm wondering what is your personal experience with microphones. I need a microphone that won't have any buzzing/white noise. What I'm leaning towards is a audio interface and blue yeti or blue snowball.

white buzzing noise is usually the product of your computer's power supply and bad electrical grounding (the surge protector/outlet), use a usb mic, set the mic level to 80% or lower and set your recording software to mono source, do not set your mic on your desk or near any other electronic devices, get or make a boom stick or set it on a table, if you have a head set move the tower or laptop farther away from you.

Go with the Blue Yeti! It is great if you are up-close, and are not in a tooo noisy environment!
I've used mine for 3 years, and it's AMAZING!
My friend has a Blue Snowball, it is still great, however I do recommend that Yeti!

Yeah i have to fully agree with PexyGamer the Blue Yeti is just amazing! I have used it for about the same amount of time as he has so we have about the same amount of experience with it.

I recommend getting the Audio Technica AT2020 but the downside is that it only has one polar patterns which is Cardioid but the good side is it is cheap and it comes with a table stand which is made out of plastic. I also recommend getting the XLR version instead of the USB version as XLR tends to make the quality better then just USB. As stated above the Blue Yeti is also a good choice and has four different polar patterns which are Cardioid, Omidirectional, Bidirectional and Stereo but Overall it depends on your own choice weather the Cheaper microphone with only one polar pattern or the more Expensive microphone with four different polar patterns. I personally use the Audio Technica AT2020 XLR Verisin with a Scarlett Solo Audio Interface and It turns out to be pretty good!

That's a face mic. If you are having some issues with the sound, try using a free online program at https://zencastr.com/ just do a normally recording with it and see how well it works out for you! :)

I also recommend a recording software that I personally use called Audacity! It is a free open source software and it allows you to preview your recording and edit it right off the software! Some of it are noise removal and you could change the bass and lots of things! If you need help with the software, feel free to DM me! I'm happy to help you!
