So, I've been away from doing youtube for awhile now. Mostly because of my day job, but I am back and ready to get back into it. I just uploaded a new video and traction for it just isn't going anywhere with it, meh youtube is weird these days.

I have been rewatching my older videos and realized that most of the videos are very structured and really dull... I want to change that in terms of the review videos. I am starting a series called "The Unknown & Forgotten". Mostly focusing on games that people don't really remember or possibly cared about. There will be good, bad and ugly games. I would still review newer games but mostly wait till the hype trains cool off, especially if the hype was high and then everyone ended up disappointed. Newer games would have just the traditional review series, but there is one problem.

My videos are dull and I want to make them more exciting. I want to add humor and even ridiculous humor, but what do you guys think it should be done? My sense of humor outside of youtube can range from just funny to really out there, but with good intentions. Do you think there is a limit to what kind of comedy should be done for a review video?

I will also be doing discussion videos where there wont really be structure and mostly me be yammering while having some game footage playing in the background. Should it be more? Less?

Any constructive advice is much appreciated!

Make yourself a little more enthusiastic! This is the tip I learned from personally doing a little research. Do games your followers want (subs), and make sure your up to doing a nice clean schedule.

I would hope to see you here more! :) Meet people here to game with, and maybe discuss games that are popping in the mgn's partners minds! ;)

Thank you for the the support! I am trying to make changes to my channel and how I do videos. Unfortunately, I can only really promise two videos a month minimum since my work schedule is so hectic. I will try and think of a better way of releasing videos. For videos, some I have planned to be these "big budget" skits and trying to add more humor into it since after rewatching my videos, seem a little..... okay really dull. The focus will maintain a lot on games that people don't talk about that much along with a bunch of retro games since I just got a Genesis and wanted to give my opinion of games that I missed when I was a child since I was a Nintendo kid growing up. Newer games I will talk about as well but I want to wait on doing them till after the hype or hate train has settled since it is very difficult to judge a game when so many people jump on one of those trains and either love it too much or hate it too much. Example, I started playing some Mass Effect Andromeda and so far, I kind of like it. Not seeing what the problem with it is yet, but I still am early on in the game.

I am trying to be more active in the community since I have been on a rough 6 month hiatus because of work.

    Thank you again!!!
