Game Anticipation 3: God of War

So Santa Monica Studios and Sony Interactive Entertainment have come together to revamp the God of War series. I am a serious die hard fan of all things God of War. It was one of the first games I ever owned, and beat 100%. To see where they are taking the series I am truly excited and drooling over the possibilities!!

Watching the trailers and gameplay videos on YouTube made me wanna play this sooooo bad!! So now that the whole Greek gods have been battled and won, Kratos decides to make a change in his life and settle down in the realms of Norse lore with untamed forests and mountainsides. He now has a son to care for, so he is trying to tame his demons and be a good father to this kid and teach him how to survive. Instead of the chained axes that have become his iconic weapon of choice, he now carries a Battleaxe imbued with magical properties. His son has inherited his mothers huntjng skills and knife (as far as the preview has shown). So far all I know is that now Kratos will be battling against nature and Norse mythology as he tries to become a good father to his son. Kratos is older and I cannot wait to see how this all plays out as he battles his inner self, the self that set out and defeated the Greek gods and goddesses.
