This has happened several times for me playing Metal gear and Far Cry. They both have music in the game that is purchased by the developer for that game. Streaming live is fine, but often after it processes, the archive gets flagged.

Has anyone found a way to dispute it? Is this something i'll just have to deal with on youtube?

    thanks!

Yea, right now that is the biggest issue with YouTube and streaming, I haven't had it happen yet so I don't know if there is anyway to dispute it while streaming.

This is what I do before I start a livestream, I go into the options of the game, find the audio portion, I then mute the music portion of the game. This has worked for me for a while now. There may be some games where it won't give you the option of muting the music for it. This is when you either take a chance or contact the developers of the game and see if they allow you to stream their game without getting a copyright claim.

Even so, I've had a couple of long ago streams that got hit with copyright claims. Sometimes the ambience sounds in the backgrounds of games are copyrighted, lol. Luckily I was able to contact the company that made the claims. Then they would release the claims on my videos.

If its still upheld, another method that seems to work is just turning the music in the game down. Not necessarily off. I was watching a live stream recording from ...i think on the Freedom channel and they had mentioned turning down the music so they didnt get flagged.

The option to mute the game music is indeed a good way to avoid a claim, what also is an option if available is youtube has the option to delete the music fragments from your video wich has helped me with games like The Crew and Far Cry 4
