NEWS A Pair of Steam Games Are Free to Play This Weekend

If you're looking for a game to check out this weekend, Steam is offering up two titles for free from now until Sunday.

The first of these is Dead by Daylight, an asymmetric multiplayer horror game where one player tries to hunt down four others who have to survive.

The other free game is the ridiculously named Sombrero: Spaghetti Western Mayhem. It's a mix between a party game and a shooter for 2-4 players (online or local). It's a fairly recent game, having only launched at the end of October.

Both games are free to play in their entirety from now until Sunday, December 18, at 1 PM PST.

Coinciding with the free weekends, the games are also on sale. Dead by Daylight is down to $14 (from $20), while the Deluxe edition is $21 (from $30). Some of the DLC is discounted as well, including the Halloween content ($5, down from $7). Sombrero, meanwhile, is down to $4 (from $15). These sale prices are available until Monday, December 19, at 10 AM.
