Recording Facecam and Gameplay Separate.

I use action for gameplay and free screencast for webcam sometimes. It works good, but for me its better recording both in the same place.
Btw? do you have a 1280x1024 monitor?

 

Currently I am using OBS but I have heard people using camtasia to capture their webcam and audio. Then taking the two files and combining them in an editing software.

 

I use shadow play for game + OBS for cam + Audio mic rec software. Then i Mixe them up on Sony Vegas.

 

i Use windows movie maker to record my face.
For audio i use Dxtory to split the Discord, in-game and my microphone audio.

 

i have a gopro for 1080p HD quality so i record my gaming with bandicam and record the facecam with the gopro, i do a countdown then sync the voices together while editing so its all full quality

 

OBS Multiplatform and Windows 10 Camera for facecams some of the time. It works well recording from my PS4 & Elgato setup. But when I try to record PC games OBS MP and W10 camera slow my FPS too much.

I'll give Shadowplay a try when recording and then use the W10 cam program and see if that works.

 

i didnt know about windows 10 having a recorder how do you access that ?

 

In search just search camera. Here is a windows help file. Even though it says windows 8 it is the same method http://windows.microsoft.com/en-ph/windows-8/taking-videos

 

I've just got my webcam and luckily it has software built in to record separately. While I use audacity for audio and Bandicam for Gameplay. Finally I combine them all in Sony Vegas.

 

I use shadowplay for games, obs for face cam and mic

 

I use camtasia and it records everything seperately
