Tips & Tricks for Youtube

Hey Fellow MGN members!

I noticed some people are looking for tips and tricks on how to improve their channel, here a list of things i have learned in the past 2 years.

• Make sure your channel represents what you stand for by making a related banner and avatar.
• Make eye catching thumbnails (Background + Title)
• Make a detailed video descriptions and give a short info about the content.
• Use your about section to tell something about your channel, what makes you unique?
• Order your video's in playlists and give the playlist a detailed description about its content.
• Use a Water Mark that or A. Presents your logo or B. A subscribe logo to trigger the viewer. (Branding option amongst the settings)
• Add a small channel trailer to your home screen that shows what your channel is about.
• Customize the home screen with Populair and new Uploads. Besides that add your custom playlist(s) for a quick overview.
• Make good use of social media links (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, ect)
• Link your website (optional)
• Make a small advertisement trailer nd use this for promotion. (Option is available in your branding settings)
  
• Make good use of tags and split them. Besides that always use your channel name as a Tag! For example: Rainbow Six Siege, Rainbow Six, Siege. (TubeBuddy is free for Freedom/MGN members)
• Check your analystics. Wich tags are searched the most to find your video's?
