    Hey I saw my friend with 1k subs and he's verified. He is with MGN. I was wondering how many subs do you need or what is the recruitment to get verified?

    As far as I know, they're not allowed to disclosure this information. But I read somewhere on YouTube's FAQ / Help section that it was unlikely to get the verified icon if under 100k subs. Don't quote me on this though.

    It might be simply because of the brand name you got, if you are consistent on using it.

    I know for a fact that networks are allowed to verify YouTube channels.
