Let's begin a conversation. I don't know what to think. My biggest concern is my revenue does not pay for the subscription so why should I do it.

Don't. There's no reason to. Larger YouTube partners apparently HAVE to or else but I don't think it is something that is going to affect smaller channels for a while.

There hasn't really been an announcement of any real benefits to the community either. Aside from...no ads. :/ oooooooooh......

I say do it. You have nothing to lose but a small chance to gain. I'm not the biggest channel and I've been receiving a few extra dollars from it. Think about it this way. There are people out there that truly hate ads. Being a part of that platform people can enjoy your content ad free and there is a very big venue for that. Least this way instead of them blocking your ads with ad blocks you will receive money.

I did opt in but only seeing an increase in cents not dollars.
