So YouTube Changed Up Their Monetization Policy...........

I think that's the YouTube Red partnership agreement that will allow you 55% share of the revenue for viewers who pay a monthly fee to watch YouTube videos without ads. If I'm not mistaken, that's on top of the ad revenue that we already earn, so if that's the case then it essentially means you agree to receive more revenue streams.

That's what it means. Opens up more revenue shares. Freedom/Anthony made a video about it.

 

Also the 55% thing as far as I understand has always been there. For example the ads make 100% in ad revenue, youtube takes their share which is the 45% (I believe). that 55% is to you, that's how they have worked with the ads for as long as i know. then from that 55% freedom/MGN takes their share, and the left over is to you. that's how it works is I understood correctly. that 55% has always been there and that's what you've always gotten. But that's how I understood the whole youtube Ads, If i'm wrong someone please correct me. and I hope this all made sense in the way I put it.

After reading what the benefits and features are it sure seems promising.
For now nothing changes but the feature to share in revenue when you have a third party match due to ingame music and such sure is positive

 

I have to say since signing this. YouTube seems to be more often to content ID visuals or music. I've gotten a lot of these cleared and I'm sure I will get more. Also I will say, after doing it I have been making a small amount of extra revenue from YouTube. Only a few dollars right now, but it's much appreciated.
