YouTube Gaming & my thoughts about the new platform

Nah, but I read about that happening. What I mean is the chat from my past live streams still carries over to the next live stream. (or so it seems)

 

Oh okay. I haven't use the service yet, because my internet is too slow for streaming.

I just tested Youtube streaming and it works. I'm not gonna be streaming on twitch anymore Youtube streaming here I come lol.

From what I have seen and read you need at least 3mps up just to have 420p or close to 720p. My internet speed is 15 down and 1up on a good day, lol!

No worries tho. I am moving some time next year to a bigger town with faster internet and I plan on getting a business account so my service is dedicated and 1080p or better... (I hope).

 

I may need some help. My stream is 360p. Is there anyway I can get it to even 480p?

 

Do you know how to find out you internet speed? If not go to http://speedtest.net and see what you got.

What program are you using to stream with?

In some ways i think it will help with the grow of your channel as you stream and upload from one account wich grabs the attention from a wider audience. Here in The Netherlands we don't have the option yet so i haven't tried it yet so till that time i stream trough Twitch.

 

YouTube gaming is a lot more better in terms of streaming livestream, but I do not really like watching streams since I am not too attentive.

 

Now with Playstation firmare updste 3.0 i got to try it put yesterday and i agree with you that YoutubeGaming is indeed a better way to stream then Twitch. My channel got lots more attention then it got before and it easy as it uploads directly afterwards wich is a huge plus side in my case

 

It is a very useful update (YouTube Gaming) for streamers. I cannot try to stream since i have a very low upload speed.
