I'd Say that voice recording is the most important element to a video. Bad Audio makes a lot of viewers leave the video in the first 10 seconds. I use audacity to record my voice as i can easily edit it using in built features. I also have invested in a new microphone (a blue snowball) to make my voice sound crisp and clean.
look at the two videos linked below. The first one is without any editing and a bad mic. the second one is with editing and a good mic. On Richard's Audio.

( Oh Yeah and both of us have now hit puberty ;) )
Please comment on what audio software/ mic you use and please, like and subscribe to my youtube.
    Thanks.

That voice change tho! And yeah I agree, if you are doing commentary your voice has to be at least bearable, so audio is important!

I'm trying to learn Audacity and do you know how to get rid of the mouse click/button push. I could remove it in Premiere but that would take forever. Using CAD U37 mic.

Hey man, sorry for the very late reply. yes i do (if you haven't figured it out already) there's pretty much 2 options. no 1. remove ever click individually (not practical at all but if you can only hear a few clicks or have a really short video then this may be your best option. you can do this by highlighting the click sound then using the "silence button". the other option, option 2. is to leave 5 seconds or so at the start of your video where you don't speak but click a few times and tap your keyboard, then highlight that 5 seconds and under the "effect" tab use noise removal to "get noise profile" then highlight your whole video and go on the "effect" tab again, click noise removal then just click OK. this should get rid of mouse clicks and keyboard taps as well as any other background noise pretty well. Again sorry for the late reply and i hope this helps :) if you want i can do some "how i edit" videos on my channel for you? and anyone else who wants to watch.
    Thanks,
    Rich

Yea the first option is the only one I know about but having 20 minute lets play videos make that impossible. I had no idea you could do that in Premiere. I think I could figure it out but a video would be awesome and helpful to other people like me. I'm using Premiere elements 13.

I usually do my audio editing in audacity just because that is the program i have learnt on. unfortunately I don't know how to do it on premiere just because I haven't tried it :p i will be making a video today which means it should be up sometime tomorrow. If you could subscribe it would be much appreciated and you will then know when i upload.
    Thanks!

I do not really mind click noises but you should remove white noises sinc that would also most likely remove clicking sounds on your video.

I do all my audio with audacity and I've now set-up a quieter room to record, I find though that I still have to record my audio after filming sometimes which puts me off recording. Sometimes I have to write a script and I get rather frustrated with recording audio. I wish it came more naturaly but I guess that comes with practice.
