Facebook Page Promoting For YouTube?

I haven't but I thought about it, Also just promoting my page in general, I don't have too many videos yet tho

i've done this on facebook and got very few responses my guess is you have to pay more than the bare minimum to really see results. I think from my campaign I got 2 likes on my page. Of course this could be because I had no idea what I was doing.

The first time I tried it I made a picture up basically a thumbnail from one of my videos and facebook took £5 from me for the day then came back to me and said that there was too much text in the picture too half the money and gave me some poor stats oh how many people had maybe seen the picture. I only did the day long advert as I don't really have the funds to advertise properly I think that maybe the facebook adds are not ment for youtubers

 

so didn't promote my page, but I boosted a post and these were my results.

 

cool, takee advantage of the tags and selecting countries but also watch how many people see it, i think i also narrowed it down even further to people who buy or see to be interested in video games or something like that. Its a pretty extensive ad feature.

 

I think its too much text in the thumbnail. Try making a new thumbnail for the video but just for the length of the add i guess then change it back :grin:

edit: they have a little feature that allows you to make sure you words arent 20% or more of the thumbnail

 

You can also change and edit some of the ads conditions and stuff while its running. I thought that was cool.

 

A otger option you could do is like video's the collaboration option. If you can find pages with similar interest like gaming there is always something you could do for each other. If people get to know your page then the more will see your video's/Channel. I run a Gaming page together with my wife and by reaching out others it helped me alot in growth for both

 

I am pretty sure Facebook has a policy of 20% text on a thumbnail only. I used to boost my facebook posts about my giveaways, but I think Facebook cheated it unless you make your target audience specific. It gets a lot of like but no actual views on my website. I did promote my website, and that gets a lot better. Do not boost.

 

Idk anything about this as I dont have a Facebook but I have friends who use their personal Facebook to reach ppl they are friends with but it isnt boost or anything they,just,post and post and post lol.... I guess they do it without having to pay and just spam spam lol
