YouTube Gaming & my thoughts about the new platform

I love live streaming. I like interacting with my viewers & subs. I guess it's because I like o talk anyways. You'll get over your nervousness

 

I used to stream to Twitch until my IPS changed the way they throttle my connection. So i'm really looking forward to seeing how YouTube Gaming is going to be setup.

Also I'm moving next March and plan to go with the fastest connection I can get. As long as the upload is above 25 I'll be happy :smiley:

 

YouTube Gaming is going live tomorrow/today (8-26)! So excited. lol

Yea, I was streaming some Hearthstone this morning and actually had 5 viewers lol

Wow I like the layout. I wonder if we are going be able to customize our channels in anyway other than what we have on YouTube alone?

I don't know, But I think they are letting you put cards up for things such as Patreon and other links that go straight to whatever charity youd like to raise funds for , which I guess I'll look in to after work. Seems better than having a "Donate" Button

No prob, I accidentally stumbled across it lol.

 

Just noticed that YouTube Gaming is live. BTW you can now used the full 2560x1440 header. All you have to do is scroll up to view it in fullscreen.

Now I have to think of what I'm going to make for my new youtube gaming header, lol! HUMMMMM!

 

I don't know if it's only me, but when I'm looking at a livestream on YouTube Gaming, I noticed that the chat/comment section has no actvity going on in there. Anyone else see this? On the regular YouTube website, the chat/commnet boxes are working as normal during a livestream.

 

Maybe it just moves very slow, i just checd and it was working

 

I signed out of YouTube Gaming and back in, still no comments in the chat box, dunno. Oh well...

Could it be a web browser glitch? I'm using Chrome..

Bah header looks good on YouTube gaming but not on YouTube. The need to update YouTube lol

So, Theres still some things that has me thinking of just keeping with twitch lol. Ill keep trying YouTube but the other service are more friendly towards groups and chatting, so far it seems. Maybe I'll stick with it thru this opening stage. Its really hard to say right now.

One thing that is bugging me, is that the Chat session doesnt seem to reset.

 

I noticed that the other day when watching MarkeeDragon. It seems like the chat gets stuck and I have to force scroll to keep up with the conversation.

Was this same thing you are seeing?
