YouTube Compression Issues ?

    Hey there,

    I'm new here so it's my first post, I have had this issue with YouTube for the longest time, I have uploaded countless videos and have yet to find the perfect fix for it, so whenever I finish editing a video, it looks super crisp and all and then I upload it to YouTube and then for some reason the motion in the video loses quality completely, I don't understand why YouTube does that to my videos, if anyone has any advice on how to fix this then please do let me know, i'll post comparison pics down below:

    I hope you can see the difference clearly, it's more visible if you watch them side by side..

    Oh that's weird, you can click on the imgur thingy on the top left of the black image and it'll take you to imgur..

    Did the quality improve over time? the reason imasking is cuz when you FIRST upload a new video to youtube, it takes time for it to ... um settle in and gain its full 720 or 1080 quality and will offten only have 480 resalution for an hr while it prosesses.

    Or is it still like this ?

    I did wait until it was 1080p to check the quality, so i'm sure something's up with the Youtube encoder..

    yes very odd, Imafraid i dont have much of an answer past my idea. best of luck tho, ill keep my eye on this to see if u figure it out tho.
