Greetings from Outer Heaven!

Hello everyone!

I am new here, to state the obvious, and thought I should introduce myself before I do anything else. Do not be tricked by my nickname, because I am not male, haha. My name's Scarlett and yes, I know my nickname sounds rather "masculine" which is why most people are surprised or don't even believe me when I tell them that I am female I am 23 years old and live in Germany. As the title of the thread and my avatar imply: I am kind of a Metal Gear fanatic, so excuse me if I randomly throw out MG references in situations I see fit. I am playing video games since I was four years old. It all started on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, then Nintendo 64 and after that I pretty much owned every PlayStation to this date. I got tired with the console market though and decided to finally buy a decent PC which I did and have had much fun since then. I am not set to a certain kind of game genre. I play whatever brings me the most joy. Fantasy RPGs, Shooter, Hack'n'Slash,... I absolutely love video games and am always amazed whenever I compare old games with new games (especially great when done with one franchise). The progress this industry has made in the last 10 years alone is amazing. Absolutely amazing. From time to time, one of my other hobbies is editing, in Photoshop as well as Sony Vegas. Being creative is something that always gave me the most joy in life. That is why I am also writing my own little stories and/or roleplay with other people in RPG forums. Or build stuff in games like... ARK!

Why I am here? About - let me lie - two or three months ago I joined DeadStatix' (@Perrie McGuire) ARK server. Back when it was still on The Center. I have been quite active on the servers since then and a few weeks ago, I was "promoted" to an admin on all servers and... yeah. That is why I am here. I am basically one of the staff members of the ARK servers
