Little Missed Game: To the Moon

So of course I bought this gane over Xmas after having watched some of mah fav youtubers/streamers play it. O man are there some feels here. To describe this, imagine watching grown men just break tf down and cry for a bit trying to finish up a heartfelt storyline.... Then once you have the game yourself the music plays and you are in the floor crying on just the memories... Yeah amazeballs game.

To the Moon isnt your graphically awesome game nor is it action based, its a simple one player RPG story and puzzle game. Simplistic 16 bit 2D world with a deeeeeeeeeeep story. The main chars are Dr. Eva Rosalene and Dr. Neil Watts, and you play as both thruout the story. These two are a team employed by Sigmund Corp, who has created technology that gives them the ability to manipulate memories in dying people with one last wish. God, even writing this is bringing tears to mah eyes. Anyways they are given a casefile for Johnny Wyles, a dying elderly man who wants to go to the moon, but cannot remember why. As this is needed to seed a desire memory in the past to make them believe they have acheived their desires. The docs entwr Johnnys mind and travel back thru memories to get to the bottom of why he wants to go to the moon and how they can do that for him. In order to traverse his crucial point memories, they have to collect mementos in each one by manipulating the chars, objects or events in those mems. Lets just say, before I give the whole story away, it is well worth the money for the great storytelling and Feels. I recommend this game for any and all who love storyteling games as well as puzzle games. 20/10!!!!!

 

Its also got DLC where the story continues and its also pretty good... Not as long but still a good sequel... But for both the music is phenominal

 

Def should... The story behind it will have you playing til the end... I couldn't take it all in one sitting because I work but I suggest all in one sitting... Awesome game!!!
