Come Up with a Game Idea

I have been trying to make games for quite awhile, but i stopped a long time ago sadly. I still have a couple of game ideas on my computer only problem is finding them all. Especially if it has to be 2D, because most my ideas have been 3D.

I do remember one idea i had though. It was about 3 gods, and then warriors that work for each god.
Basically the idea is that you make up 3 gods. 1 for water, 1 for fire and 1 for lightning. I havent got any names though.

Those gods are the main things of the game, and you have to choose to play as a warrior/follower of one of those gods when you start the game.
What i was thinking is that you make a small story with the 3 gods and how they have to fight eachother to be the last god.
Troughout the story you will have to fight Peasants from the opposing gods, and sometimes when you have to fight a big horde or group of people you can use a skill that turns you into some kind of Archangel of your god f.eks if you are the fire gods archangel then you will be able to shoot fire. It will be on a timer, and can be used infinatly but with a cooldown.
Also the game will be very simple. The warrior has a sword or a bow, mabye both. And he uses that to defeat the opposing peasants. At the end of the game, you try to kill the opposing gods.

The style the game would be in is medival. Ill let you know if i remember the rest of what its supposed to be.

 

Yeah sure man! I just need you to know that its been basically a year since i coded. So i will be a bit or just very rusty xD
Originally i meant for the game to have a huge story, and a multiplayer component. But im not that skilled with coding so i just dropped it...

Ok so i got a relativly good idea. Its a platforming game where you have 4 colours and a small level. There is 1 of the 4 colours as the background colour, and then some platforms with the matching colour.

Once the background colour matches the platform colour you can walk on it for the amount of time the background colour stays there, and then just create levels from there, and mabye add more levels the further you get in.
