How To Get Verified On YouTube

    Let's be honest this is probably the main reason why you are looking at this article. You would love to be verified on YouTube to get that little check mark by your name verifying you are the person you actually say you are. Sorry if I sounded kind of blunt in the beginning there, but let's be honest you probably aren't a user with over 100,000 or more subscribers. Which is kind of a lot for someone to get verified at but I do not make the rules. I honestly would love to see it be lower... In my opinion, it should be more like 50,000 subscribers or more to get verified, so let's start out with the rules to get verified, shall we!

    Subscribers - 100,000+ (If you are a huge brand then you can get around this)

    "Well, I see YouTuber's with 100 Subscribers or 10,000 Subscribers Verified so you're lying" Trust me there'll be a comment like that even after I have said it. The reason they are verified is because before YouTube didn't have a policy saying you need 100,000 subscribers. Back then you could be on a Network's Community Team, because YouTube recognized them as staff and gave them a little bit of respect, but now they will not do this and you need to have 100,000 Subscribers or more!

    wow thats dumb i mean today youtube sucks because you have to have so many subs to get noticed most people cheat there way to top i bet i wish youtube would change to good i like layout and all but lately it's hell.

    I don't know why the number is 100,000, but apparently they want to keep it to high-profile users that would hate to have their reputation tarnished.

    I kinda like that you need 100k subs because it makes the verify button more special.

    I dont understand how that Grey tick influences people to watch your videos. But I think, it makes your channel seem like an official brand ;)

    When I was with the Scalelab Network and I had contacted them to see if they could put in a request for my verification, they had told me you needed a minimum of 10,000 Subscribers.
