Hello, is there anyone know how to recover files from WD portable hard drive after format? Yesterday, my 1TB WD external hard drive just was formatted by mistaken and all my downloaded photos, games and apps inside were lost completely. I just found nothing back from PC Recycle Bin and also had no data recovery solution now. Do you get any data recovery software recommendation to rescue them back? Honestly, I did search some choices, but, don’t know whether it is workable? Do you have any idea? Have you had some useful experiences to share with me? Thanks in advance!

    Hey MaySeryo,
I have done it using this method:

Tell me if you face any problems. But another thing, I had done it 3 years ago so I don't remember much of it. Do let me know how you go along with it ;)

If you're looking for free Software for it, you can try "EaseUS", it allows you to search every section of your computer, or a specific one to where your file was last located at, and it'll search for the allocated space your game was located within, bringing it back; you'll be able to restore it.

Alternatively you could contact your local Computer Repair Shop or Tech Shop if you have one, and see what they have to offer in terms of restoration services.
