2016 Accomplishments?

We've essentially got two months left, and I'm sort of getting slightly ahead of myself, but what are you guys most proud of for 2016? I created a thread a while ago that was "What are your Goals for 2016"- so what did you all accomplish? Did the year go as you planned?

For me, this year was a freaking whirlwind of unexpected hell.

1. I graduated from college. I am now fully equipped as a software engineer and a gameplay programmer.

2. My goal was to go up 1500 subs at least by the end of the 3rd year of my doing this- and actually, I did, on the date of my third year anniversary I'd gone up 1500 subs instead of the usual 1000. But almost a week later I posted a video of me raging and ranting about cheaters in Overwatch and in less than a month gained another 3000 subs. It was geared to keep rising, but Labor Day happened, and for literally everyone I know, it was like the sheer drop off of views and subs was associated with Labor Day. Justsuddenly POOF. All of youtube vanished, and I slowed back to a crawl. I need more viral content.

3. I did consistent livestreams for a while, but with the advent of becoming an official MGN Knight and the creation of a brand new youtube channel of which I am a major part of, my livestreams have really suffered.

4. I did not complete making a game TTOTT In fact, I completely started over on it.

5. I did a few more youtube tutorials.

6. I have, on occasion, stuck to my youtube uploading schedule ^_^;;; at the very least, I upload every single day now, instead of only three times a week.

7. I haven't finished a playthrough of literally anything.

8. I began work on a new youtube-related song, but nothing else has been released.


So there you go! That's my update on everything from my goals post. I realized that virality is really important in youtube careers today- what can you release that will get attention to the rest of your videos? I now get a solid 100-200 views a video, when before I only got 30-75. THat's a huge relief to me, seeing such an increase in viewership, even if it doesn't *quite* match the extra 3000 subs I netted myself.
