It seems that my gaming videos and my vlogs get about the same amount of clicks and watch time, many people tell me I am funny, but I know looks don't count. I have tried working on my thumbnails, but they don't get any more clicks then well titled non worked up videos. I have tried play by play commentary, and open discourses during my videos. I used to do unboxings, but they weren't getting any real views. I am trying to get series pulled together, but that is not easy either. Please help me Obi Wan you're my only hope...

I hope someone can show me what I am really off on, or what I seem better at objectively so I can focus my efforts on my strong points.

When looking at your channel the first things i notice is that the banner is a bit out of order. I would adjust it and make it more visibible then it is now as it blurred and doesn't fit well together.

Besides that your thumbnails are a screen from a certain moment in the video, it is better to make a custom made thumbnail with something like GIMP or anything else you have to edit things like this.

Besides that the Title's you use in the video's are basic and some are very long. For gaming it is difficult to get a good title but a Let's Play suggest that you probably won't continue with a certain game wich is what attracts gamers to a channel. Mostly from own experience people tend to watch Playthroughs across multipile episodes rather then a single Let's Play video and to find out you ain't playing it anymore.

Start up max 3 games and record it from beginning to end with all its flaws wich can become a good laugh and have a good time while playing the game ;)

I agree entirely with Twilight here. He's made some good points about your channel, and I hope to see it improve!

Also this might be obvious, but build a strong online presence! Be active on Twitter, Facebook, and/or other social media sites and plug your channel every now and then to let your friends and family know what's up! Most of my early subs were friends from twitter and facebook and my growing sub count and views from them helped me get noticed by other people and even more people after that!

I will have to admit I have tried, but then it comes down to never having had much of a media presence, other than a personal group of friends, but I am looking to put together a professional page specifically for My YT "character" since he ("The illumANark") is central to both my YT, and my Tabletop Pen, and Paper RPG company. Presence I have Social Media Presence I seem not to have. But, it may just be an age thing... CoL
