I've always liked the idea of mail-in subscription boxes like Loot Crate, I've finally gave it a try recently and it's gaming variant Loot Gaming and I've been doing unboxing videos for them all summer. I've noticed Loot Crate has, arguably, improved the quality of it's items, and Loot Gaming is also pretty decent. Does anyone else have subscription boxes similar to Loot Crate and what do you guys is the best one for the price?

I've always wanted to subscribe to Indie Box ( https://www.theindiebox.com/ ) but I don't have the funds for a monthly subscription box at the moment.

NerdBlock is a box very similar to LootCrate, but I don't really like either anymore? I feel like LootCrate's quality has been dropping.

I know The Toy Box is a good nostalgia box for 80s or 90s nostalgia toys and video games, and there's quite a few snack boxes out there and food is always good lol. Have been thinking about Naturebox maybe.

Aww, yeah I hear Indie Box is awesome since it makes physical copies of indie games like Hotline Miami, and throws in extra physical content.
I'm still currently subscribed to Loot Crate and Loot Gaming, and honestly I'm more pleasantly surprised at the quality of the recent items compared to NerdBlock, but that's just me. My Loot Gaming unboxing video went up today and it was my favorite unboxing video and box so far, check it out!

And of course, I just ended my subscription with the 90s Box and I signed up with Bam Box since the quality of the items there seem much more unique.

While I feel LootCrate has gone down a bit, LootGaming is definitely a good offshoot! I was also keeping an eye on that one! (also good video, subbing for more unboxings in the future!)

I've thought about subscribing to these boxes but aside from the shirts a lot of the stuff inside just seems like things that would just build up and clutter my office. Do you guys think these "collectables" will ever actually be worth anything in the future since they're so mass produced?

I liked the last 2 Loot Crates I did, the June Dystopia box came with one of my favorite shirts now, the Robocop one, and the Fallout Dorbz was still nice lol I ended up skipping the July Futuristic box but I instantly regretted it seeing it came with a replica of the Planet Express Ship from Futurama, and this month's Anti-Hero box was pretty good with the Harley Quinn figure and the Hellboy bank. But Loot Gaming is definitely much more preferrable if all you want is gaming related stuff!

And thank you so much for subscribing, I really appreciate it! the next round of unboxing videos will be start in mid September, so stay tuned! I'm glad you enjoyed and I hope you can check out everything else on my channel, as well :D

I guess it depends on the person receiving them and the branding on the boxes, and the availability of the figures, etc. Loot Crate does give out some exclusive stuff that only comes with their service, otherwise the only ways to get them is through eBay or Amazon from whoever got them in Loot Crate. And Bam Box offers authentic signed items from celebrities involved in the fandom their monthly boxes offer.

So I caved in and decided to skip September's Speed themed basic Loot Crate and signed up for the September Speed Loot Crate DX lmao I figured, I'd skip to save the cost, and none of the titles they were name dropping were really getting me too excited compared to what's coming in the DX crate, like Back to the Future, Transformers and Mad Max. Plus, the July Loot Crate DX came with a Gypsy Danger figure from Pacific Rim, a Gundam model kit and an OCP water bottle from Robocop lol
