as OBS is 100% free and Dxtory i believe still requires to be bought to get rid of a watermark. i have to go with OBS. Dxtory i believe is better though when it comes to straight up only recording gameplay, i have had problems with OBS and i know OBS isnt always able to capture certain games where Dxtory is a bit better. However if you wish to stream and not record then OBS is your boi there then because Dxtory does not have streaming capabilities.

Hands down, OBS is the best software I've used for recording/streaming. Now between OBS and OBS Studio, I'd have to say is all preference but I've slowly been moving to OBS Studio and I'm quite enjoying how everything is already put together p much.

Man, it's been a while since I've heard of Dxtory. Anyway, I use three programs in my streaming, usually for different circumstances.
    1. OBS Studio: Open Broadcaster Software is great because of it's customization. It has many different settings and scenes and sources, as well as the option to add plugins. Studio is better than Classic because it's easier. And they are both free! So...I mean that's reason enough. I use it to stream onto MGN as well as stream Podcasts.
    2. Mirillis Action: It's a recording software with a streaming option. I use it to stream PC games (and record them or take pictures of things), because it's not a huge resource waster, and it usually looks good. Costs a lot of money, however. But very easy to use and reliable.
    3. Elgato Game Capture HD: This is just to stream my console (PS4) games through my PC. Easier, and allows me to stream it to Restream.
