What do you call episodes?

It really depends on what exactly your recording. If your recording a very long series, then I would say, Episode 1, part 1. Or if your recording a series with only like 5-10 episodes only use episodes. That's what I think at least.

 

I prefer to use Ep. 01 and so on

 

I use different things like Part, Episode like that one game gameplays are part and another game gameplays are episode and when i dont want to use long name then i just use EP to .

 

I am trying to make things more uniform on my channel. So I plan to label each video of a let's play/playthrough as Ep XX. I have considered using Chapter xx or Season xx Ep xx on any super long playthroughs, like The Witcher or Fallout. If I do it will most likely be Seasons as I like to think of my LP/Playthrough series as TV shows. Problem with that is figuring out where to change Seasons.

I am also trying to decide if I should call them Let's Plays or Playthroughs.

 

It depends on your format. If you're recording two hours of a basic Let's Play video, I would call them parts when you break them up into smaller videos. If you're putting a lot of different elements into a video, and editing portions/signing off often like a TV show, I would call it an episode.
