WHAT I USE TO RECORD [MAY 2016]

Mic: Blue Yeti, Excellent quality, however it picks u quite a lot of background noise when setup incorrectly.

Headset: Razer Kraken 7.1 Classic, the best quality audio I have ever heard, 7.1 plays like a dream especially in games such as Forza 6 Beta and Arma 3.

Webcam: Logitech C920, relatively low cost, 1080p 30fps or 720p 60fps. Great quality and performance and comes with its own software meaning that it can be recorded seperately from gameplay.

Software: OBS MULTIPLATFORM, if you have an Nvidia gpu, use the NVENC codec for crisp recordings with no frame drops. Excellent for streaming and local recording and more reliable than shadowplay in my opinion!

OPTIONAL

Social: I use Discord, rather than Skype or TS. Discord does not have the annoying background digital lawnmower sound of skype or the annoyance of a paid, rented TS server. Server can be hosted by Discord for free and are extremely high quality!

 

ññeeee... I prefer Mirillis Action! No lag, easy recording, webcam preview... bla bla bla... I really like it way more than OBS... Also you can use the gpu to record and well... a lot more. Still the rest of the equipment is perfect! Keep going, youre doing it great!

Tbf i actually did get that and xsplit lags out for me :/ mainly because of the 760
