How are some channels using music for videos and not getting a copyright claim? As a test, i done a video with the same song and got a copyright claim.

Well the channel that is using the copyrighted music might have asked the creator of the song to be allowed to use that music or his partnership lets him use it

Btw only make one post for the same question...
But i shall say as i did in your other post that he might have permission from the creator of the music to use it or his partnership allows him to use that music trough some kind of contract.

Well Fullscreen has a benefit on using over 3 million songs from major artists however that's only for cover songs but it's mainly some deal that's been made behind the scenes or luck or they did get a strike and the record company is collecting the revenue.

Who's know they prob just got a license from the publisher.

Well most of them are a part of a really big network that protects them from copyright claims and they also use for 10-15 secounds so youtube doesn't detect it

    Good question, @GamingTix!
Channels that don't receive copyright claims when using copyrighted music either have expressed permission from the artist/label to use said song in a video or their channel is whitelisted from receiving claims, like how all Freedom! partners are whitelisted from claims from PositionMusic.

    Hope this helps!

It can be a matter of luck by the artist not claiming your video, or even the youtube automated system not catching the song in your video.

The other channel will have a licence to use that music, usually from a contract signed by their network with the music label who owns the music.

If you want to find music to use, search copyright or licence free music, and look in Feedom!'s music libraries (or any other libraries with copyright and licence free music).

Hope this helps, reply if you have any other questions.

Why would you want to risk your channel of getting a strike as music labels and artists can still calm the video and request to YouTube to give a copyright strike.

    The risk isn't worth it.
