Thumbnails!

It generally depends on the game, so I'll go with my Town of Salem template.

For my Town of Salem Template I swap between several different galaxy-based backgrounds, as well as a stapled-text style/size in the top right, I then take the icon of whatever role I'm playing and place it on the image to signify which role I'll be playing for clarity, and finalize it with the role on the right side. I am gonna be straight up honest as i am lazy and just download a wallpaper and add some txt on it. I don't have fancy programs nor the time to make those shiny pro things

 

I am still in the process of learning how, so I will go off some I have seen and liked. Since by the time you are making a thumbnail thr game has already been played and recorded, take a screenshot during gameplay that was funny or memorable (such as when someone playing a spoopy game gets jumpscared and screams lol) and label title having to do with it, and then gametitle the screenshot with epi number and badaboom thumbnail!!
