Dead Subscribers

    How do you all feel about dead subs,Do you have any dead subs yourselfs? For those that don't know a dead sub is basically someone who subs to your channel and then never watches any of your videos.
    I have 137 subs and at least 5 actually watch my content.

    I have 369 subs and the majority is dead actually. When going to my analystics only 9% is active wich is not much...
    What i find strange is why sub to someone if your not gonna watch?

    I know right. I know some only sub expecting you to sub back (which is frowned upon). It makes me feel kinda sad being a small channel and all having all these subs and hardly any of them watch. :(

    Where do you see these stats?

    I'm guessing most just forget to unsub. Was subbed to like 5 different people that I didn't watch anymore.

    It's in the analystics part you can change what it shows to subscribers only.

    That's a normal thing to happen! But don't worry as you grow, you will have active subscribers!

    Well, I haven't took a look to my statistics, but I'm really proud of my community, because I have only 70 subscribers and if one video gets around 30 views, then it's a good mark about that most of them are active :)

    That is not always the case. I get the majority of my views from non subscribers, sadly :sob: You really need to check your stats and see how many views are from subs and how many aren't.

    I feel you man yep i got alot of dead subs its sad it is so hard to grow now a days on youtube i just keep trying i hope sometime i'll catch a break and be able to relax at some point but it sure won't be soon.

    I have 3K Subs, and I have to admit. Over 90% are dead. I'd like to revive that, but it is very hard. The more I upload daily, the more views I get. But If I don't post within a week. My view count goes back to 0-20.
