Girl Gamer Checking In

Might as well say "Hi" here! I've been partnered with Freedom! for about a year now, give or take, and so far it's been a very good, healthy experience. I think the most I really get out of it is the free music I use to edit my videos and make them more entertaining!

I'm comedic, but I'm not loud like a lot of youtubers have become. My humor lies pretty heavily in horror games, as I'm a pretty good laugh when it comes to anything on horror.

I am about to hit 2500 subscribers, and I've had my viral moments; I was the writer and performer behind the song Hey Yogscast 3/4 years ago, and it's right now at 6,000,000 views. Currently working on a revamp!

On Mondays I upload horror games- my current Let's Play on Mondays is Vampire the Masquerade- and on Wednesdays I upload anything that doesn't fall into a category, like vlogs. On Fridays I upload fantasy-type things, like Visual Novels or weird Pony Games. This is a schedule I've recently picked up, and it's been very popular with my community, who has gone so far as to make an official Steam Group for my channel for weekly gaming sessions together and an official Skype Chat group. I have something like 10 twitch moderators, most of whom are now from the community but have been extremely active.

My real life is hectic- I'm a full-time college student studying programming for video games, and I work full-time as a software engineer. It has been my hope that now that I have left off my second job, I might be ableto collaborate with some other youtubers, as a special wednesday series. I'd loveto bring new people in or introduce my wonderful, loving community to other channels like mine, big or small.

Thank you! I'm glad to hear it. I tend to come in and out in activity. Some days I'll be as active as a bee in summer on the forum, and some days it's just like "nope everything's one wrongtime to try to work my butt off" XD

That's absolutely awesome XD Older does not mean worst, in fact, it's gotta be kind of awesome for some people to see. It jyust means gaming doesn't ever have to end, even in adulthood!

Oddly enough, I have a sort of mix between high schoolers and young adults that have just started working or around my age (24). I'm getting kind of up there myself.

My channel's doing way awesome right now- we're at 2,547 right now- max of 200 views per video on a good day though. Still trying to figure that out. Seems like that's about normal for a couple other purely gaming channels I've seen that don't do mainstream games like FPS or MOBA, but I'm not certain. Loads going on in real life, so apart from creating a new upload schedule, I've been mainly uploading Until Dawn videos almost every other week day.

You're quite lucky with that! My channel seems to be the opposite. I have 2600 subs, but nowhere near that in views. Except when I upload something about music, haha. Some videos even out at 70-80 views, and some go right on to 18,000 views. It's very frustrating. There's almost no discernible pattern.
