Did you know, that your channel homepage plays an important role in the attraction of audience? No? Well here is a guide to help you out!

A good layout on your channel page makes it seem more professional and easier to understand. So, here are ways you can make your channel page look better and pursue new people-
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    New-Subscriber Trailer section
(haha not sure what I'd call this one)
This is the first eye-catching container that people are likely to check out first, in order to make up their mind whether to follow your content or not. It's highly recommended to keep a trailer in this section. It comes with a tab for returning subscribers as well, where you can set your trending videos.

    Playlists
A great way of organizing your content types are playlists. These lists can be used to store the videos in an ordered format and can be presented on the channel front page in an organized format.

    Hide Subscriptions
It would be a bad idea to show your followers your subscriptions and what you watch right? Hide them from the channel settings, which you can find beside the subscribe button on your channel in the form of a gear.

    Featured Channels
You may list out your collab channels or partner channels in the feature section however, this is not mandatory.

NOTE: You will need to enable customizing from the channel settings, present in the Gear option beside the subscribe button.

    Great Tips!

I'd also add that you should put links to your social media in as well.

If you click the pencil in the upper left part of your channel banner, you'll see a link for EDIT LINKS

Do you have a twitter account? Put the link in there! It'll show up in you banner area in the lower right corner.

Do you post game reviews to your own blog or website? Add your website.

You can add your patreon, a link to a paypal donation page, your twitch channel, facebook group page, or your steam community group

These can help engage your viewers as well as keep them engaged with you on different levels which I believe helps with retention.

    Just my .02 worth.
