The Shop

I wonder if mine are going up? Are we talking about the points next to our name or the points we use for the shop?

 

I really don't understand the point of having a shop here, but, that's just me.

I dont understand really, you have 235 i have 47 points? Is that the bank points? Cause if not why then if i started a month or 2 before ya on here am i so behind? Especially since we posted and like replied to each other every day for like a week lol it doesnt make sense to me. Granted i think ya post every day but i dont have time for that. And holy canoli's how the heck did ya become a moderator on here after only a week already holy truck?! What did ya do? Is that the next level after Champion? Ive been stuck on champion for like a month . I kind of feel like they are favoring ya more idk, just a thought. Anyway gotta go eat starving so much

Yeah its not really a shop more like a vending machine that only sells 1 item haha lol.

Nah i dont think so Alli whenever you post something you can see a box with your name,ranking (which your a moderator which idk even know how you got to be one and im suoer jelly of ya now)how many points ya have (points ya get for ranking up and earning "achievements" which increase the points, not the shop points) and how many likes ya received etc. So im just wondering how did you rank up to the top in one week or 2 when ive been at mgn for almost 2-3 months now and im still stuck as champion . I just have the crapiest luck

I actually think this a great idea as it stops people from spamming and promotes communication through the community!

 

It doesnt really matter now youve explained it to me but i will take a photo and send it to you on twiiter later so you can understand what i mean.

 

I hope they will add more stuff soon.

By posting, replying, be active mainly I believe. I am not too sure what all does it...

You receive more points as you post and when you earn a trophy, with the whole trophy points earning is still an unknown thing for me, but all I know, each post you do gives you 1+ point.

 

Yeah its kind of obvious lol, the point system hasnt been used other to give us points to buy a permanent pass that we can use to enter in the part of the forums where we can post videos when we upload them so mgn partners can see them. Its supposed to prevent spamming but it costs only ten points so it doesnt cut down on spamming that much in my opinion but it does help. Although id wish you could use points for something cooler and theyve been talking about doing something cool with them forever now and i dont know if the are ever going to do it if im bieng honest with you . If they do it be really suprising and that be awesome!

 

They will most likely do something more with the points, it just takes time to ensure it'll work, since coding a forum and adding new features dent to be difficult, sure there are ways to beta test, but I don't know what kind of forum build they're using, I know about vbulletin, the one which freedom uses (Idk if MGN uses the same one) and another one which is also advanced forum, forgot its name, its cheaper than vbulletin.

 

I dout they will do a lot of ps4 and xbone stuff pc keys can be bought much cheaper in bulk due to large amount of indie devs and ps4 and xbone are much more expensive for example a good indie game on ps4 cost around £15 while you could buy about 10keys for a single indie game on pc if you get what I mean

 

Yeah i kind of get you but its not as hard as it seems, well not for my sponsor at least. Greenman Gaming sells pc keys and Ps4 keys on sale and if you are a member you auto save like 5% off not including the sales. They are going to add nintendo and xbox one games soon to the list. But overall it is harder to get AAA titles for consoles on the low price range. At least i can get ps4 keys slightly cheaper than buying it from the psn store am i right?
