    Hello, My name is Emicarn, and I'm an AddictedGamer!

    (what, no Hello Emicarn!????!!!!)

    Just kidding! How is everyone, so I'm using the template they provided because I hate these things.. seriously. And given that I'm an old guy (literally) who got into this youtube thing late in life.

    Looking forward to chatting with you all and learning a few things, maybe share some of my folksy wisdom, and have fun doing it! IF you happen to look at my channel, I'm always looking for feedback - good, bad, or indifferent, so drop me a PM with any thoughts. We only get better if we work together.

    So here goes!

    Your name: Most folks call me Rich

    Where are you from?: Massachusetts, was born in corn country Indiana.

    How old are you?: 50 - First person that makes a walker quip gets it!!! You whippersnappers.

    How did you find MGN?: Currently a Freedom! Partner, followed a link, checking it out.

    What are your hobbies?: games! model building, reading, taking some classes on programming

    What is your favorite food?: If it will clog my arteries I like it!

    Why did you start YouTube?: It looked fun and since I love learning new things, it was a challenge to learn editing and so forth.

    What is your biggest dream?: Corny as it sounds to see less strife in the world. Peace among people.

    What kind of channel do you run?: Gaming.

    What Console you play on?: What is a console! I'm a PC guy.

    What is your favorite Game?: Right now, Stardew Valley, Factorio, and Hearts of Iron IV

    What is your favorite genre: Strategy and Simulation mostly

    When do you upload?: Various times, I try to have something post at noon and 6pm EST most days. I do binge recording so upload in batches and schedule.

    Scheduled uploading is the best, as is batch recording. It's so nice to know the next couple of days are safe in the way of content haha. I'm a software engineer IRL, so it's really cool to see you're working on learning programming! I learned my first hint of web design as an 11 year old, when I wanted to learn HTML so I could have sparkles on my Neopets page XDD

    Stardew Valley is the best. I've done a couple of videos, but I just can't bring myself to upload a super long, 150+ episode series of it, so I'm thinking of livestreaming it instead.

    My dad's from Massachusetts- it's such a gorgeous place, I absolutely loved it there. Did a haunted tour with my parents, the people on the tour never laughed. Not once. I made like fourteen jokes BESIDES the tour guide, and by the end of it we were just like nudging each other with puns it was the worst lawl. I think half the tour wanted to die XDD That said, because of my dad, I can't actually hear an eastern-American, "Bostonian" accent. Like I have to try SUPER hard, and it's only when people start pointing out words like "cahkees" versus "car keys" that I begin to hear it haha. X3

    If you like strategy and simulation games, specially games that come from paradox like hearts of iron... You should REALLY check out Stellaris. It's a amazing game.

    There are a lot of great places here to be sure. I'm lucky to live near the coast so get to go sit and watch the waves come in from time to time. I miss Indiana still at times.

    I am up to like 18 episodes of my current Stardew Series. I'm doing short, single day episodes. Not sure how they are being received, no real comments and single digit views sadly.

    I have Stellaris. I wasn't a fan, the game seemed quite incomplete to me compared to other games. I may give it a look since the last few patches again.

    I loved the idea of it, just was very disappointed after clearing my day for the release.

    I'm not sure when the last time you played was but the game as of right now has got be the best strategy game on the market. Nothing else combines Grand Strategy, 4X, and RTS anywhere near as well as Stellaris. In the current build of the game, the mid game isn't as boring anymore. Theres a lot more events and things that happen now.

    I wouldnt exactly call 50 old. I think 70-80 is old in my opinion xD. Btw im only 16 just FYI.

    Thanks! I think compared to most YTers that do games I'm probably in the upper range. ;)

    I don't think of myself as old, really, but I like playing on that. I'm odd that way.

    16, I vaguely remember being that age. All I can say is have fun, stay in school! ;) yea I know, old guy stuff.

    Clogging arteries is a bit rough, but some food is definitely worth the hardship ^^ What got you interested in playing PC games? I haven't played anything on the console lately.
