I would recommend Dxtory, if you use that you can record multiple audio files. So one for mic and one for ingame audio, instead of one for both.

I myself have had to resort to Nvidia Shadowplay myself though. Because my Dxtory is conflicting with my pc. But it should work fine for you ;)

It also has alot of settings you can have some fun with.

Well, if you're not afraid of spending a few dollars(or you can probably find a free version of it somewhere... trial or full) there's Blueberry Flashback Pro 4. It compresses all files recorded into nothing more than 800mb (that's even for 30 minutes of Overwatch Gameplay..), and to mention you have the ability to record mic/selective frame rates/audio all together, and much more. Easy editing, comes with a recorder, and a playing device (can only add mkv or avi files to it though)

I've used many other recording devices, and I'd have to say Camtasia Studio, Fraps, and BBF4 are probably your best choices if willing to spend a few dollars.

But the recorder also relies on good specs. Xsplit and obs work very bad for me so I use ZD soft recorder

All of the recorders I've specified can run on an 11 inch Netbook with 1gb ram, 720p with average 26-28 frames per second.
I've tested them on my Netbook, and use them on my laptop.

    OBS for any PC.

Recording software is your own personal preference and it also depends on your computer specs. It also has two category which are paid and free of course paid ones are better but some free ones are also good!

Free ones that I recommend are:

    1) OBS
    2) Mirillis Action (Free)

Paid ones that I recommend are:

    1) Dxtory
    2) Fraps
    3) Mirillis Action (Paid)

The one that I prefers the most is actually Camtasia Studio. Camtasia Studio is actually a Screen Recorder and a Video Editor. The Screen Recorder records at 1080p and the Video Editor is advanced and it can do green screen effects and more!

Overall it's own preference and I hope you find your desired screen recorder that you feel comfortable with!

Personally, when I record I use OBS. But I also am considering getting XSplit and using it to record.

Depending on your graphics card you could use either Nvidia`s Shadowplay or if yu have an ATI card (like me) you could use Raptr both of which are free
Then there is OBS which is open source and free.
I used to use D3D gear until it started to mess about and not record properly for me.
