I have heard so many things about Twitch, so I'm wondering what do you all think is better, Hitox or Twitch?

Do you have to stream a certain amount on Twitch?
Someone told me that if you don't keep a schedule they will suspend your account.

Can you setup donations on Hitbox?

    Any help would be great.

I would say Twitch as that's where most gamers are in my opinion and no they don't suspend your account if you don't keep a schedule. That's only if you don't use your account in years or you violate their ToS like most sites. I've never used hitbox but I know that's where alot of the bad streamers go like cam girls for example because Twitch perma banned them for not following the rules. Personally I prefer Twitch over the others I've looked at and have used it for awhile and haven't had any problems. No matter which one you choose there will always be problems from the site not working to people looking to cause problems in you're chat as long as you're sensible then you should be fine matter which one you use.

I have no experience with Hitbox but i have streamed alot on Twitch.

Twitch has alot of optional features wich can be implented to make it much better and also has Donations trough a alternate website.

Hitbox I think has less delay in its stream, but Twitch definitely wins because it has more viewers, a better layout, and way more support from both their in-house team and fans of the service.

I've never used Hitbox but I stream on Twitch at least once a week and have never had an issue. I also like the layout and all the options Twitch has to offer.

Twitch seems friendly enough for me. I used to watch a ton of people for Hearthstone content back in the day. I tried streaming on Twitch, but it feels comfortable for me currently. I need to test out hitbox myself though to see the real difference.

I've been using Hitbox for a month or two, seems like you get less traffic on your stream compared to twitch. It's easier to get out there on twitch then Hitbox. Well that's my experience. And twitch doesn't suspend you unless you break the TOU.

    Here's my opinion:
I have had a long experience with both streaming platforms.
    Twitch:
    PROS:
    - Aimed at gamers
    - Updates are pretty good
    - Somewhat friendly people
    --
    CONS:
    - Bad Latency (10-16 seconds)
    - Lots of swatting
    - Staff isn't the best
    - Hard to gain followers sometimes.
    - Need over 1k followers to get subscribe badge, and to earn money.
    -------------------
    Hitbox:
    PROS:
    - 4K/60FPS Streaming
    - Very low latency (2-9 seconds) (THIS IS MY EXPERIENCE, WON'T BE THE SAME...)
    - Friendly users
    - Hitbox will put you on the front page if your below 50 watchers, a lot of 1 viewers are on the front page, which helps people grow.
    - Not a lot of streamers, so you have the advantage to get more people
    - Get subscribe badge with partnering your Hitbox channel on MGN/Freedom! Sponsorship area - paid right when you stream.
    ----
    CONS:
    - Lot's of foreign people (French, German, Russian.) (Usually at night)
    - Hard to learn the dashboard stuff.
    - there's more - I'll edit later, I have to go. XD

Personally I use Twitch because I heard of it first, but it really depends on the person streaming. To be honest, I do not know too much about HitBox however, have heard good things about their site. Let me propose this to you---- Instead of one or the other, why not try both? At least at first, and get a feel for which feels better to you. Most of the viewers are probably located on both sites so it would be easy to convert if you decide to move down to one of them. As far as your other concerns, Twitch doesnt ban or suspend your account unless you violate their rules or stream banned materials. Just read through everything thoroughly on both websites to make sure you got it lol

    Good Luck!!
