Hey MGN community, just wanted to know if there are any suggestions you guys have for me, it would greatly help me out. A few months ago, early 2016, My PC died, and I had to order a new custom built one. But the parts literally took two months to come, so I barely got any good quality videos out, and when I did get videos out, there were crappy ps3 ones, bad vlogs, or updates. So a lot of my subs went inactive, and I was wondering if there are any tips on how to get them back? I almost have 16000 subs, but %00+ views a video, depending on what kind. Thanks guys.

I quit youtube for a year, lost about 1K (i still have 5k somehow) subscribers and now i'm lucky to get 30 views in a day. Practically I had to start over. Check out your analytics from the time period before your went on hiatus and try to make similar videos to the ones that were popular. And as always click bait titles and thumbnails. Oh and make sure when you upload a video- that under advanced-"notify subscribers" is checked before it goes live.

I am struggling with this very thing right now. I had not posted a video in about a year and a half. Now I have no where near the number of subs you 2 have, but, it seems like this is even worse than starting a new channel. Mostly because the subs I have don't trust the content will continue to come out. So I'm treating it like a brand new channel.

Exactly, treat it like a new channel, and stay regular, but whatever you do don't spam the videos. I tested uploading everyday and I was losing a huge chunk of subs after the 3rd or 4th day, so I cut it down to every few days and started going positive with new subscribers.

I think that your upload schedule is unique to every channel. I would never recommend uploading more than once a day. Some channels can handle daily uploads while others can't. I know that back before I took time off. I was only growing on my second channel when I was uploading 7 days a week. Yet during the same time frame my first channel grew the best when I only uploaded on Mon/Wed/Fri. In essence I was uploading twice a day on Mon/Wed/Fri, but, each channel and different content and different audiences.

If it worked in the past, I'm sure you can use the same method to bring more people to your channel. It starts to snowball in time, but I'm sure that you can make it work yet again ^^
