I've recently bought a pair of beats to listen to music because they where suppose to be the best sounding pair of headphones which they got alot of bass. So I had nothing else to use when I play games so I used them for recording gameplay and when It came down to the editing portion of my videos I noticed it had this really bassy noise to the gun shots from Counter Strike. It seems that is the only thing my audio quality is missing is something to record the game sound but with good quality so are there any alternatives that don't cost as much Haha?

You may like the "Super Human Hearing" function, I can hear Dogmeat's claws click on the pavement in Fallout 4.

I'm not a turtlebeach guy, what I think would be best for you is a pair of AudioTechnica's ATH M50's. A nice gaming headset would be great for you as well. I personally enjoy my Razer Krakens & my Hyper X Cloud's, although it's entirely up to you. A good editing headset and a seperate gaming headset is the perfect mix. :)

If your not on a budget, Astros A40s are not bad. If you are, you can get a pair of Razer Krakens, which are nice as well.
